Micekteers

​​The Micekteers Club meets on the second Tuesday of the month (in season) at 1:30 PM at the Clubhouse.  Please check Channel 2 for any updates/changes to meetings.

​Club dues are $10 for 12 months. What a bargain! The dues entitle members to use the club-owned printers and computers, as well as various other hardware resources.  Plus there is a treasure trove of technology experience and knowledge that the other club members willingly share during the monthly meetings.  We'd love to have you join us and become an official Micekteer.  

A new Members-Only benefit is a password code for access to faster Internet while at the Clubhouse.  You don't even need a "secret decoder ring!" Members in good standing should e-mail Sharon Rump at sharonrump@gmail.com and request the Password. 

Topics of special interest are often offered and the Micekteers  Club opens those meetings to all residents.  The special events are publicized on the Events Tab of this website,  in The Acorn and on ISS Channel 4.  We encourage the Oakwood community to join us in learning new tips and better ways of  using computers and technology!

For Micekteers (or any Oakwood Manor resident) interested in gaining even more computer expertise, there is another group in Sarasota that is available to those who have not yet taken advantage of it.....  Ask a Micekteer and we'll gladly share this secret with YOU.
